BHS Technologies is a high-tech medical technology company and develops, produces and markets technologies to improve the working ergonomics of surgeons and doctors.

 

To strengthen our team in Innsbruck, we are looking for a full-time Software Engineer (f/m/x) starting as of now.

 

As a Software Engineer in the field of medical technology, you will play an integral role in the development and enhancement of our flagship product, the RoboticScope. This innovative device combines robotics and imaging technologies to revolutionize surgical visualization.

 

Your responsibilities will include creating and implementing software solutions that enhance the functionality and user experience of the RoboticScope, ensuring it leads the market in providing advanced medical care.

Your Tasks

  • Design and implement software solutions for medical devices, focusing on robotics and imaging. 
  • Collaborate closely with the entire R&D team to develop coherent and integrated solutions. 
  • Participate in the architectural design and development process, promoting innovation and enhancing product performance. 
  • Able to work in a development environment fulfilling industry standards and regulatory requirements specific to medical technology. 
  • Conduct code reviews and maintain software to uphold the highest quality standards. 

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Proficiency in programming with C++ and Python. 
  • Experience with the Linux operating system. 
  • Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, Git and Continuous Integration (CI). 
  • Problem-solving ability and meticulous attention to detail. 
  • Organized and capable of self-management. 
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in English and German to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams. 
  • A commitment to self-study and ongoing learning. 
  • Reliable, with a strong sense of commitment to team goals. 

Your future working environment

In addition to the obligatory, classic office tools from Microsoft, we use a modern IT environment with the tools CONFLUENCE as a documentation and development system and JIRA for project organization with which we organ-ize our workload in small teams via 2-week sprints.

 

We pay attention to ergonomics in our workplaces as well as in our working environment, and our personal working hours are freely configurable within the framework of our flex-time agreement.

Please note that the minimum basic salary for this position (collective agreement for employees in the metal industry, employment group IV after two years in the employment group) is EUR 3,444.50 gross (14x) for a full-time position. There is an explicit readiness for overpayment.
