BHS Technologies is a medical technology company based in Innsbruck. We develop, manufacture and market technologies that support surgeons and medical professionals in their daily work in the OR.

 

As Finance Manager you are responsible for the operational finance processes in our company. You maintain an overview of payment flows, take care of preparatory accounting and controlling. You will regularly coordinate with the various stakeholders (management, tax consultants, banks & external consultants) and your structured and independent way of working will not let you lose your cool even in hectic phases. 

Your Tasks

  • Planning incoming and outgoing payments (liquidity planning) 

  • Recording and transferring incoming invoices (payment transactions) 

  • Document pre-entry for accounting (incoming and outgoing invoices, credit cards...) 

  • Preparation of month-end closing (reconciliation of incoming and outgoing invoices, payments, interest calculation) 

  • Product costing and calculation of cost of goods sold 

  • Assistance in the preparation of the monthly management report and analysis  

  • Creating & sending cost center reports (target/actual comparison) 

  • Sales and development controlling (creation & analysis of reports) 

  • Assistance with annual financial statements incl. reconciliation of inventory 

  • Budgeting incl. personnel cost planning 

  • Collaboration on funding applications and funding accounting incl. research premium 

  • Communication with banks, funding agencies, tax consultants, investors 

  • Checking & approval of travel expense reports & monthly payroll accounting 

Requirements Profile

  • Business administration training with a focus on finance - degree, university of applied sciences or corresponding school education (HAK, HASCH) or apprenticeship 
  • First work experience in the field of finance (accounting, controlling, treasury...) 
  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping, cost accounting & balance sheet accounting 
  • First ERP system knowledge 
  • Very good knowledge of German and English

Your actual salary will depend on your training, professional experience and qualifications. The basic salary for this position is a minimum salary of EUR 2,855.52 according to the collective agreement (collective agreement for employees in the metal industry, job group III after two years in the job group). A fair overpayment in line with the market is important to us and will be agreed in a personal interview.
