BHS Technologies is a medical technology company based in Innsbruck. We develop, manufacture and market technologies that support surgeons and medical professionals in their daily work in the OR.
As Senior Finance Manager you are responsible for the operational finance processes in our company. You maintain an overview of payment flows, take care of preparatory accounting and controlling. You will regularly coordinate with the various stakeholders (management, tax consultants, banks & external consultants) and your structured and independent way of working will not let you lose your cool even in hectic phases.

Areas of Responsibility

Financial Operations & Cash Management
Ownership of BHS’s day-to-day financial operations means keeping our payment flows accurate, our liquidity position clear, and our month-end processes closed on time.
– Liquidity planning and full ownership of incoming and outgoing payment management
– Invoice processing, document pre-entry, and month-end reconciliation
– Review and approval of travel expense reports and monthly payroll inputs

Reporting, Controlling & Analysis
Precise, timely reporting gives our leadership team the visibility to make confident decisions. You own the full reporting cycle, from operational controlling through to the management report.
– Monthly management reports, cost centre analysis, and target/actual comparisons
– Sales and development controlling, product costing, and cost of goods sold
– Annual financial statements and inventory reconciliation

Budgeting, Funding & External Partners
From annual budget planning to funding applications and investor communication, this role is BHS’s primary financial interface with the outside world.
– Budget planning including personnel cost planning
– Funding applications, research premium accounting, and grant documentation
– Active communication with banks, investors, tax consultants, and funding agencies
Requirements Profile
- Business administration training with a focus on finance: degree, university of applied sciences, HAK, HASCH, or apprenticeship
- First work experience in finance: accounting, controlling, or treasury
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping, cost accounting, and balance sheet basics
- First ERP system knowledge
- Very good German and English

- Independent and self-directed in organising and prioritising day-to-day responsibilities
- Conscientious in handling confidential financial data and sensitive information
- Clear and professional in communication with both internal stakeholders and external partners
