Junior Finance Manager

BHS Technologies is a medical technology company based in Innsbruck. We develop, manufacture and market technologies that support surgeons and medical professionals in their daily work in the OR.

 

As Junior Finance Manager you play an important role in the accuracy and reliability of our day-to-day financial operations. Working within a small, collaborative team, you take ownership of three clearly defined areas, each with a focused scope that fits well within a 20-hour week.

    Tax Consultant Coordination

    Keeping our external tax consultants well-informed and accurately documented is a straightforward but important part of this role.

    – Prepare and organise financial documentation for tax queries and filings, serving as the primary point of contact 

    – Follow up on open items and ensure accurate, complete delivery of all required materials

    Budget Communication with Team Leads

    Clear financial information helps our team leads manage their budgets responsibly, translating that data into accessible updates is central to this role. 

    – Communicate current budget positions and liquidity status in a clear, structured manner 

    – Prepare concise updates in coordination with the finance team and flag variances where appropriate

    Financial Administration & Documentation

    Reliable day-to-day financial administration keeps our records accurate and our operations running without friction. 

    – Invoice pre-entry, expense report processing, and financial record maintenance 

    – Support month-end preparation with document organisation and reconciliation materials 

Your Profile

  • A background in business administration or a comparable commercial education; first experience in finance or administration is an advantage

  • A genuine affinity for numbers and structured processes,  precise and detail-oriented, because in finance, getting the numbers right matters 

  • Proficient in MS Excel and comfortable with standard financial or office software 

  • Organised and reliable, with a consistent approach to deadlines and documentation 

  • Very good German; English is an advantage 

  • Clear communications across departments and sensitive handling of financial data with discretion and care

Your actual salary will depend on your training, professional experience and qualifications. The basic salary for this position is a minimum of € 1,402.34 gross/month according to the collective agreement (KV metal industry, 20 hours per week). A fair overpayment in line with the market is important to us and will be agreed in a personal interview.
